What this blog is about

This blog has been made as a forum for everyone to get and share ideas on what to feed their families. We've all been there: 4:30 pm standing at an open fridge. Enter children "Mom, what's for dinner?" 5:05 pm standing in pantry doorway, husband, "Honey, I'm home...what's for dinner?" For those of us who hate to decide what's for dinner, there will be anything from simple in a pinch plans, to dinners that take a little planning. Please feel free to share what you had for dinner tonight. Recipes and ideas will be posted with credit given to you. You can post ideas as comments or email them to me at mealtimehelp@hotmail.com

Why I started this blog

I hate to cook. Period. I am a baker. I love to make breads and treats. When it comes to meals, count me out. The worst thing for me is figuring out what I am going to make. Nothing sounds good, or we've eaten it at least 1,000 times already. My mom also suffers this problem, maybe it's genetic. I've tried the monthly and weekly schedule planning. It didn't work. While on the phone one night with my dad, I jokingly said I was going to do this. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to give it a go. So, I created this blog to help myself and others plan dinners. Some of the things will be common entres most people already make. Maybe some things you have forgotten your family enjoys. Others will be something you might not have thought about on your own. My hope is once people start to check this blog out we will be able to share ideas with each other, have monthly drawings and just have a good resource for those times no one wants to make dinner. Thanks for checking this out and enjoy!

Side Dishes

Thank you so much Erin for the link to get a thrid column. I was getting nervous changing so much on the HTML too! This space is the future site for easy side dishes. I've just got to get them posted now!
